Robert Nowell – Portrait & Headshot Photographer

With over forty years behind the camera, Robert Nowell specializes in creating headshots and portraits that capture confidence, personality, and authenticity. Based in Niagara’s wine country, he works with professionals locally and beyond, helping them put their best face forward.

A lifelong student of light and storytelling, Robert’s greatest joy comes from connecting with people and translating who they are into timeless, meaningful images. He is also a full-time photography professor at Mohawk College, a mentor, workshop leader, and host of the photoPROS podcast, where he interviews top photographers worldwide.

Accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada in portraiture, studio, and wedding story, Robert has held leadership roles within PPOC and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America. Above all, he loves helping people create images they will cherish—and looks forward to helping you do the same.
